Some men are born responsible, some men have responsibility thrust upon them. Henry Charles Albert Edgar Pembrook, Prince of Wessco, just got the motherlode of all responsibility dumped in his regal lap.
He’s not handling it well.
Hoping to force her grandson to rise to the occasion, Queen Lenora goes on a much-needed safari holiday—and when the Queen’s away, the Prince will play. After a chance meeting with an American television producer, Henry finally makes a decision all on his own:
Welcome to Matched: Royal Edition.
A reality TV dating game show featuring twenty of the world’s most beautiful blue bloods gathered in the same castle. Only one will win the diamond tiara, only one will capture the handsome prince’s heart.
While Henry revels in the sexy, raunchy antics of the contestants as they fight, literally, for his affection, it’s the quiet, bespectacled girl in the corner—with the voice of an angel and a body that would tempt a saint—who catches his eye.
The more Henry gets to know Sarah Mirabelle Zinnia Von Titebottum, the more enamored he becomes of her simple beauty, her strength, her kind spirit…and her naughty sense of humor.
But Rome wasn’t built in a day—and irresponsible royals aren’t reformed overnight.
As he endeavors to right his wrongs, old words take on whole new meanings for the dashing Prince. Words like, Duty, Honor and most of all—Love.

Emma Chase always makes me feel good when reading her books. They always promise a good, funny, and sexy time! Royally Matched is no different.
Being the second book in the series, there are some repercussions from the choices made in the first book. Prince Henry now has a different title and has a lot more responsibility. He doesn’t want any of it. He wants his old, wild and fun life back. He wants his grandma’s affection again. He’s tired of always screwing up.
So, he agrees to something wild and crazy one more time. He’s going to be on a royal dating show where he will meet eligible women and one lady will get proposed to by the end of it. That’s right, it’s The Bachelor: Royal Edition. And it’s amazing.
Except, the one lady that Henry wants to spend all of his time with isn’t even on the show, but instead is the sister to one of the contestants. And Sarah (that’s right, I’m the heroine and I am loving it–okay, so she wasn’t named for me but one can dream) is the exact opposite of Henry. She’s a bookworm (see, me), quiet, and reserved (okay, maybe not me) and is only on set and living in the house is because of her sister. She never thought she’d catch the prince’s eye, she didn’t even want to.
But, oh does Henry see her and he to get to know her. Every inch of her. And does he ever.
This book was romantic and sweet with splashes of spicy in between. It’s about opposites attracting and learning to live and let go and experience life in new ways. I had so much fun reading this book and I wish it went on forever! Or at least a little longer because I felt like the ending was rushed and wanted it expanded a little more, but other than that, I loved it!
